When Coldplay appeared on stage, Chris Martin started jumping to the sound of A Head Full of Dreams. It continued with a countdown, just to tease the fans. Let’s start by talking about the opening acts, which both of them were gorgeous singers: Izzy Bizu and Aluna George are R’n’B pop singers that have a sound that resembles a lot to Alicia Keys. In fact, Xylobands are bracelets that light up in different colors according to each songs, almost like matching colors to sounds, like Chromesthesia. Coldplay are known to give a great sound experience to their fans, but also a great visual experience. When I went into the stadium, I was hoping to have the Xylobands from last tour, because it was what intrigued me the most.
I was scared I could never see them again, because they kept hinting at a hiatus, and they would then surprise us with new music, which always made me a little more hopeful. I remember being devastated since I wasn’t able to attend the Mylo Xylotour (their previous tour). Their songs had an impact on me on a personal level and as of today, I cannot thank them enough for following through good and the bad times. On a personal note, Coldplay is my all time favorite band because they are the only band with which i had grown up with in high school. Hit after hit, they have become the biggest band of this decade, with legendary songs like Yellow, Paradise, Fix You and Viva la Vida. This band has been active since 1996 and never stopped being successful until today. I am talking about the sensational band Coldplay, composed of four main members, being Chris Martin (main singer), Johnny Buckland (guitarist), Guy Berryman (bassist) and Will Champion (drummer). I had the immense opportunity to witness THE best show ever, and to be apart of the third, most grossing tour of all time.
